iv posted a question recently about just starting work on a stud with arabs. i want some info on arabs.iv been online to try and find some info about arabian horses and how to handle them and their temperament and i can find anything i really want to have the best advantage at working with these horses, PLEASE HELP can anyone give me any advise on arabs or point me to a good site on handling and temperament etc.I have learned, that you have to be firm when you say please to an Arabian. ( That's sort of a joke, sorta not) You have to use patience so that you know for sure that they understand what you are asking them to do, then once you know that they have it, give them credit for having the heart not to quit until they get the task finished. You can lead them a long way, but you can't push them an inch, if you know what I mean. I'll swear, there is no quit in them, get them to trust you and they will go to the mat with you, try to bully them and they would rather throw a fit and get themselves into a pickle that could cost them their lives. They are quite elegant and have the stamina to keep up with their spirit. I think that the breed is somewhat misunderstood by some people or maybe some people just aren't suited for them.
